Our Approach

Two large randomised controlled clinical trials (PREEMPT 1 and PREEMPT 2) have shown that botulinum toxin type A, known as injection therapy, is effective in the treatment of chronic migraine. Treatment involves injecting the head, neck, upper back, forehead and several other areas with botulinum toxin and usually takes less than 15 minutes and you can return home immediately after with no activity limitations. Treatments are repeated every 12-16 weeks.
