Dr. Julian Rodrigues
Dr Julian Rodrigues (MBBS UWA, 1995; FRACP 2004) is a Neurologist who offers a specialist headache service. Practising primarily at Hollywood Medical Centre & Private Hospital, he also holds positions as a neurologist at the Fiona Stanley Hospital Department of Neurology and Joondalup Health Campus. He is a member of the Australian and New Zealand Association of Neurologists (ANZAN), Australian and New Zealand Headache Society (ANZHS) and the International Headache Society.
Dr Rodrigues is committed to ongoing research into the treatment of migraine. Having managed a cohort of over 300 patients with Botulinum Toxin he was the only WA Headache Specialist to take part in the first study showing real world results of PREEMPT injection therapy for chronic migraine which was presented at the Annual Scientific Meeting of the Australian and New Zealand Association of Neurologists. With this and other treatments he continues to help chronic migraine sufferers achieve major reductions in migraine frequency and severity. He has published many articles in scientific journals and gives regular education sessions on migraine to GPs, Nurses and students, and is a keen advocate for migraine in the local media.
